summer in canberra is sooo hot. it’s funny cos whenever it’s winter i always with it was summer, but when summer finally rolls around i can’t wait for winter to be back. i reckon if my last trimester was during winter it would be so much better cos at least i wouldn’t have to worry about hayfever and being so hot all the time.

today was particularly bad because i had a headache that didn’t go away for about six hours. the temperature went down a bit but it was still too warm for my taste.

i only have five more weeks to go, and i really just want to give birth already… i’m sick of the heartburn, heat and all the weight. just getting out of bed is already a major event lol

i’ve been constantly checking the weather website, just to see what the temperature will be like for the next couple of days. it will less warm (25C) tomorrow, but we might go up to 31C over the weekend :-( how i miss 19C days lol

sometimes when i get started on something i get a bit OC on things. like right now i’m being OC on blogging again. i’m contemplating on going back to blogger but i can’t be bothered finding out how to export my wordpress posts and import them to blogger. anyway, i’ll see how i go with wordpress… maybe it’s not so bad after all :P

a few months back i was going to start writing episode summaries on some of the shows that i watch, but then laziness got in the way and it was much easier to not write the summaries and just play zuma hehe.

right now with about 5 weeks left into my pregnancy, my days are occupied with researching prams, car seats, flying with a baby and thinking about what to eat next hehe.

my heroes-watching days were rudely interrupted by the writers’ strike and with channel 7 declaring the season over with still two episodes left. anyway i’ve discovered heroesstreaming.com so i was able to watch the last two episodes hehe.

anyway, we’ll see how long i can keep up blogging regularly. surely after i give birth i won’t have the time or even the energy to blog… but then again, maybe the excitement of being a new mum will improve my blogging mojo. ;-)

have you heard about the lesbian couple suing their IVF doctor over having twins instead of just one child?

i think the case shouldn’t have reached court at all. they are putting too much blame on the doctor when really, who’s to say that they wouldn’t have twins even if just one embryo was implanted? it is true that the chances of having twins were increased because two embryos were put in, but still, it’s like they’re blaming all their issues for that “mistake”.

someone made a valid point on the radio this morning, if they do win the case, which of the twins would get the money? wouldn’t they be facing the same predicament as with choosing which twin to set up for adoption (if they want that way)?

i have been vomiting everyday since my eighth week. i get sick usually after eating a meal, however, big or small that meal was. i’ve discovered that drinking pineapple juice with my meal helps make vomiting a bit more tolerable. if i don’t drink pineapple juice, the after taste of hurling is really, really bad and super acidic. however when i drink pineapple juice it’s still doesn’t taste good, but at least i don’t feel like hurling again on my way from the toilet to the sink to brush my teeth.

thank God for golden circle pineapple juice! bottled vs tetra packs are better though, imho.
